From what I've seen of the efficacy of that money, we are WAY better off without it.

The money students spend on housing and food, that pours into communities all across the country? The soft power of American Higher Education, which has been respected throughout the world? The fact that foreign students' tuition (they usually pay the full tuition) underwrites education for millions of American citizens?

Stop apologizing for Deficit Donnie and you'll feel much better.
