Athena Minerva Goddes Justice victory wisdom trade art strategy
IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
It seems strange that Greek mythology has two Gods of War, Athena & Ares. But they represent different types of warfare. Athena uses
intelligent, strategic warfare. If she can end a battle
quickly by capturing the enemy or misdirecting
them, she will. Ares represents brutal rage.
The embodiment of the phrase "war is hell."; The only strategy he might employ is scaring
away his enemies; he has either 2 steeds or
sons named Phobos & Deimos (Fear & Terror).
In spite of the misogyny of Greek tradition,
Athena is the better God of War. Her careful
planning often bears fruit. Ares on the other hand
often finds himself in a bad situation, losing a battle
& ending up suffering greatly while he recovers.
