They do, with all the other countries that the US has been alienating. They've been cutting deals with European countries left and right, as well as solidifying connections with Russia and Iran.
And the trade is not just one way either. They've made arrangements with Australia to buy a crap ton of beef from them to replace that which they're not buying from the United States anymore. And that was the other month, who knows what they've done since.
They're still dependent on the United States making them rich, but as we seen on yesterday's news, that's not exactly about to end. Some this and that and it's back to business as usual, with nothing to show for it except the rerouting of some of their trade to a more diversified customer base elsewhere.
Now if we actually had the guts to quite literally cut them off completely, then some damage can be done, but we don't have the stomach for that. They do. And the reserves. In US dollars. Which if they start selling eough of off, would be the end of our economy.
They have us securely by the nads. And we know it.
