At absolute best, the Trump library could pay market value to buy it from the government. Pretty unlikely.

And the "Trump Library Fund Inc" is run by a Florida attorney.

Neither one of those "owners" are...Donald Trump.

you're conflating the library and the foundation. Those are 2 different things. The library, which will be operated by NARA after Trump leaves office, does not have ownership of the plane. The plane will pass to the Foundation. There is no requirement for it to be owned by the Library, and thus managed by NARA.

And let's pretend that the plane did become the property of the library, and then managed by NARA. Why the hell would we accept that gift? Maintaining a $400 million plane just to sit in a hanger somewhere? THAT is government waste spending.
