the whole point of the Judicial branch. if the Executive can just do whatever it wants then we don't have a democracy.

The judicial branch only INTERPRETS laws. Otherwise there’s no point in an executive branch.

The legislative branch makes the laws, the executive branch enforced them. Judicial rulings are not laws either.

But as for EO’s not being laws, your ilk said the exact opposite when Biden tried to force vaccinations on everyone, and when he kept forgiving student loans. Only it was the Supreme Court that stopped these: not a district court.

The Supreme Court handles anything of judicial override that deals with national policy. District courts only have authority in their districts. That’s as per a recent Supreme Court ruling. (Checkmate)
