Ahhh, so you do know what a troll is! Good on you! Unless you're using words without knowing their meaning, which I know you would never do.

The climate is constantly changing on our planet. What the left needs to do is prove that the current (seemingly accelerated, according to some) rate is caused by humans. That's a bit of a stretch, what with science being science, and liberals absolutely NOT understanding what the scientific method is.

After all, if we listened to Al Gore, we'd already be frozen over... wait, he switched it to under melted seawater... right? And of course, AOC said back in January of 2022 that the world would end in 12 years unless we address climate change. So we're past the 1/4 way mark to doom and destruction based on her model. Actually she was regurgitating UN propaganda from a few months prior... She's not an original thinker.

I'm not saying anything one way or the other about what I think, other than proof from somebody other than leftard reporting MSLSD, Washington Compost, etc., should be required *before* believing. Hard for some to comprehend, but science has a pretty high bar for something to be considered settled.

We have not 100% proved it but here’s the basic run down of man-made global warming: UV light from the sun makes its way into the earth’s atmosphere which provides the planet with energy. The rays that do not get used up(about 30 percent) are reflected back into space as heat. But some of these waves collide with particles in the atmosphere such as carbon dioxide and methane which absorb the heat and traps it in the earth’s atmosphere. So if more gasses such as carbon dioxide and methane are released into the atmosphere by human activity, more heat is trapped by those gasses, therefore warming the planet at a higher rate. I see that's sourced by an outfit called "imgflip.com". Nice to know they're up on all the latest planetary climate statistics. I wouldn't recommend using them to support your point of view if dealing with actual scientists though...

I'm willing to believe, just not without proof. I read "Billions and Billions" by Carl Sagan when it first came out, and concluded that, as he said, even if we don't believe or know that global warming (that's what it was called back in the day) is caused by human activity, pumping billions of tons of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere cannot be a good thing. I still believe that. I just require some proof to believe what you believe (without proof, I should mention... which makes if fath, ya know, like a religion) about it being caused by humans.

And this part is just me being hopeful, but I think there's a very good chance that if we want to do something about this, there will be a technological solution.
