I don't like fish(eating), so it's a net positive, I don't have to deal with fish and man gets to eat

Not saying it doesn't matter.
But it is his responsibility.
And he should follow immigration laws.

Laws are subjective. Laws can change

But until they do, your obligations are to follow them.

You're a "do not question authority" person, aren't you? What if someone made a law preventing you from doing something you love? Would you obey or fight back?

Questioning authority doesn't necessarily mean disobeying authority.

There were plenty of new laws I did not like during 2020 / 2021. I fought back by not doing or wearing what I did not believe was effective. When my workplace required the injection, I filed my religious exemption.

I did not go loot and burn shit. I did not break laws, even laws I did not agree with. I worked from within them.

The laws currently, and unconstitutionally, make it extremely difficult for me to own a fully automatic rifle. I do not own one, but I work within the laws that are there to ultimately acquire one. I did not just aay "eff it" and buy one off the black market.

Your definition of fight back and mine are wildly different.

As an anarchist, I believe all unjust laws must be broken. You must disobey authority. Heck, I disobey my parents.

Listen
I'm from Alabama, I got the knowledge to make this definitive decision

Sometimes the law should not be followed
Want laws that should not be followed because they were wrong?

DOES ROSA PARKS RING A BELL
Segregation
Slavery
Jim Crow

Those were laws, following them WAS wrong 100%

It doesn't matter it was law, it was wrong

Now unless you wanna make the argument slavery should have happened because it was allowed by all means...

Or the argument Rosa parks should have followed the law and moved back...

Because that is the argument you will have to make to contend with this point.

Every country on the planet has immigration laws. Every country will deport you for breaking them. The US policy is quite lenient compared to many other countries.

Are you honestly trying to argue that the immigration laws of every country in existence are akin to slavery?

Firstly
Flagged for strawn man

Your misrepresenting my argument, which is just because something is the law doesn't mean theaw is morally right or should be followed

Flag: black or white fallacy
You make it seem like there's either all immigrants or no immigrants

My argument is how the law is not right sometimes

It was a using well known examples

Slavery

To explain my argument

Also another flag for strawn man

I wasn't defending all countrys immigration laws
I wasn't saying all us immigration laws are bad
I wasn't saying that immigration laws in every country are slavery

You clearly misrepresent my argument with the full intent to make me look bad

Penalty: Ejection from the game

Oh and ANOTHER FLAG: RED HERRING

We are not talking about other countries

Your argument assumes extreme things and is flawed and throughout it in its entirety

Please make a better argument

And respond rather than deflect

Recheck the original meme you're commenting against. It's about illegal immigration.

You chose to wander off into the slavery hinterlands. Don't get defensive because I called you out on it.

Cute that you post like you're some sort of unquestioned authority on a friggin' meme site. How very Democrat of you.

I didn't say I'm authority, I think I myself definitely could been a beet less aggressive in my reply but I was using slavery as an example, not as an equivalent item, of course slavery and illegal immigration laws are not the same but I was making a point of the fact they are law doesn't mean moraility can't play a point in following it

Honestly yes I think you are kinda right with me off topic

I have a tendency to rant and change topic when I get reminded of something

Although I don't take back my argument of morality can have precedent on some laws in considering weather or not to follow them

All good.

How are laws protecting the sovereignty immoral?

Are our current laws protecting US sovereignty not being abused by a non-zero number of bad actors?
