If you understand economics, you cannot change the rules and still make it work. Capitalism made America great while socialism, Marxism, and communism destroyed countries.
Abolish wealth inequality? Do you want to put a gun to people's heads? The smart/clever people want to be rewarded for their contributions to society and should be incentivized, Raven. When you stifle ingenuity, discovery and excellence, you dumb down an entire population.
You should want equal rights for people but not equal results. This is one of the fallacies in the thought processes of Democrats. It is just ass backwards as are so many of their beliefs and behaviors.
We are 'not' equal as human beings and we should encourage entrepreneurial spirit resulting in good innovations for ALL. When you lower standards, we all suffer (as in DEI).
I know your old username was CompassionKitty. I do think you are a compassionate person, so that is good. But at the same time you can't be so compassionate that you lose your intellectual grounding.
I went to school back in the day when we were given a decent education. Unfortunately, that has devolved into liberal advocacy that is not focused on history, facts or even common sense. Believe me, I am right on this one.
My hope is to get through to young people who can become deep thinkers rather than surface thinkers.
America became America because of capitalism and exceptionalism and there are 'no ifs ands or buts' about that statement.
