Given Elon's gutting of National Parks, the EPA, and various environmental programs and legislation, your meme is not exactly making the best of arguments.
Granted, the destruction of cars already made at great cost to the environment is bad enough on both counts (destruction and manufacture), but this reminds me of two students who were trying to start a "save the planet" club at the college we were going to. While they were decrying the hunting of deer at some table festooned with world saving signs and seeking signatures for whatever petition, they got a tad irritated at me when I pointed out the hypocrisy of them puffing away at cigarettes. How many acres laid waste, how many creatures died just so they could smoke to look cool?
I had actually met them a week prior to that at a meeting were a bunch were discussing starting the club. In actuality, their main interest was trying to attract the attention of a certain guy there, flirting with him while some of us were trying to discuss real ways to do something constructive, like starting a wildlife garden on the campus.
Anyways, the point is just about everybody I've ever met in my life has stood for this that and the other thing, and not only have they often done otherwise, but they usually did otherwise more than they did something for what they supposedly stood for, other than making neato proclamations,,,
