I think the biggest problem -- aside from generally low intelligence or the ill-education of most Dem Party voters -- is that they are condition to never EVER ask their leadership any meaningful questions.
It's very sad that they can't think for themselves, otherwise maybe they'd ask questions. But you are right they're conditioned/told not to rock the boat.
