There is nor ever has been a nation, with the exception of the United States of America for a short while, that has not run on greed.
It's very short sighted to think greed is only found in capitalism. And ever worse is the extremely stupid idea that capitalism runs entirely on greed and that all capitalists are greedy. People are people and no two people are alike. You just cannot make exceptions to this fact. Not all rich people are greedy. They didn't steal their way into their great fortune. Many have worked 16 hr days, 7 days a week just so they can make payroll. The majority of rich people are extremely hard workers, in spite of how they're depicted in movies and TV.
The flipside of greed is what Marxism has to have as a foundation or it will never get forced onto people is envy. Envy is greed for someone else's money. This divide is crucial to Marxism because without it they'll never gain a foothold. That's why the divide keeps changing and adding new kinds of "oppressors" and new groups to convince they are being "oppressed".
There are no oppressors and no one is being oppressed. Anything close to that ended decades ago.
