Case in point the BLM riots of 2020. Those that the marxists assaulted, r*ped, murdered were largely workers rather than the supposed enemy (billionaires). The destroyed businesses and didn’t ruin the lives of billionaires but of workers.

It stokes malcontent by provoking envy and covetousness. What better way than to harp and accentuate the material comforts of a wealthy person to someone who is barely scraping by? People who get sucked into it won't care if the person who is self-made or if its the wealth bequeathed to a trust-fund baby.

Society allows people to focus on the tasks they are best suited to. In ancient times one man could find he was better at making arrows than at hunting, so he could gain more food by supplying other hunters with arrows than he could chasing an animal himself. Society helps us to make what we do not have time to do ourselves and is part of commerce. However, charity is done by individuals within society.
