Yes. Ultimately this protection against infringement is WHY the Political Left wasn't able to pull an Australian Government on us during the COVID scamdemic and put people refusing to take the experimental mRNA vaccine into camps.

When people who BELIEVE in freedom are armed then even Constitution-hating leftist politicians proceed with some caution.

Truth. The very fact that the English descent North American colonists rebelled against Britain due to lack of economic and fundamental freedoms so impacted the successful rebels that they created an iron-clad Constitution and then added an Amendment to the effect that the Right to Bear Arms shall not be infringed.

The fact that they were correct so to have done is seen today in how modern Britain treat their own citizens. Since they have no Constitutional guarantees to meaningfully hold them in check and their people are unarmed, the British politicians use skewed laws to vigorously repress the voices of their nation that are trying to express concern over absolutely hideous WOKE policies.
