My mouth isn’t swollen anymore and I can eat most foods now.

I’m still sore when I open my mouth all the way, so eating burgers is hard. And it’s easy for food to get stuck in the back of my mouth.

Other than that I’m recovered.

Maybe it has to do with where they cut into your gums? They cut in mine from the side rather than the top. I assume the top is more vulnerable to bleeding.

But yeah, I was living off apple sauce and mashed potatoes for the first few days.

probably. they were also very deep in so had to cut a lot

im not actually sure. i was unable to open my mouth more than like half an inch for a few days though, like physically my jaw was too tight to open
