She wasn't an immigrant either.
Her name was Debrina Kawam, she was 57 and she was homeless. Originally from New Jersey, it took a week to identify her because her family didn't know she was missing because they didn't give a crap. That's why she was homeless. That's why the only pictures you see of her are from the late seventies. They didn't even have anything more recent. So they can go whatever themselves too and save the inevitable lawsuit for someone who actually cared, which, evidently, was no one.
The concerned citizens brigade and the rest of the gloriously sympathetic public did care when they found that lovely picture of hers that wasn't her. Upstanding citizen in the community, model good looks, hard-working office person. Yes, sad, very sad.
But when her real identity came out, see any memes about it? You see your face plastered all over TwitterX? Fox? Anybody? Anybody?
Nobody cares. That's the way this world is. Nobody cares.
And her family who was the first not to care in her 57 years of a sad life is going to become millionaires because of this.
Her name was Debrina Kawam.
May she rest in peace.
