A few years ago I was at at a PCT hostel and was eating with the other hikers and one ol boy was talking quite a bit.

After several uninterrupted minutes he looked at me and said, "You probably noticed I have an accent. I am French Canadian."

I responded, "Oh, okay, you's a france talker. I thought ya had a speech impediment."

He was a good sport, even laughed a good bit himself.

He even said hamburger when I asked him to.

I used to fool around town in Germany playing Canadian if I wasn't trying to be all USA loud & proud. Eh ?
