Not that I'm aware of. Labs must be the particular thieves of the dog world whereas cats of all breeds are just brazen gloating crooks. At least dogs are sorry. haha. I've heard this about labs likely from you. I search the web for stories and pics. It's always funny.
Of course maybe labs are the sociopaths of the canine persuasion. I mean the word "retriever" is in the name of the breed which I'd argue is no coincidence.
BREAKING NEWS; THERE'S BEEN A BREAK IN THE MISSING SHOES CASE. Police set up cameras around town & in the alley between Second & Third Street a cat was caught red handed carrying a shoe in its mouth. Just to be sure they watched cameras the next night & again saw this cat in a yard near the alley & got a zoom shot. They contacted the owner who discovered an area in her garage where the cat has been hoarding shoes. The owner adopted the cat 6 months ago & didn't know this cat has felony charges in 3 other states for theft, breaking & entering and armed robbery. The feline felon is now in custody & could face 30+ years based on his record. He shows no signs of remorse & purrs with pride about his crimes. She named him Jack but this cat has many aliases in multiple states. His original name was, unsurprisingly, Jesse James
