Yes... and no. The dog is free and willing to admit how clever the (octopus) cat is. The cats are also very impressed, but the Cat Code does not afford them the same freedom of expression. As a result, some cats will feign fright and/or hide, lest they violate the code. Others punish themselves for their thoughts. It's a terrible thing to live in such an oppressive regime. That's why they love hanging out with us humans now and then. We're fun, and we share it.
