Good point. In this case it was probably an unspoked deal that if Columbia -- which has always been a hotbed of leftist radicalism -- endorses and pushed the Left's ideologically-based 'principles' then they could do whatever they want with the funds . . . like skim 10% off the top for staff luxury vacations and so forth and so on.
