Trump, and his voters - winners of FAFO.

Trump, and his voters - winners of FAFO. | In response to Trump Tariffs (which were never a good idea) Canada is no longer selling US booze on its shelves. An industry that reaches the billions. British Columbia, for example, blocks all imported spirits from red states, ensuring that the largest economic toll hits the states that voted for Donald Trump. FOR SOME REASON, TRUMP HAS PAUSED THE TARIFFS UNTIL APRIL 1ST. | image tagged in canada, donald trump the clown, fafo, tariffs, imports, alcohol | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Alcohol is gonna get cheap in USA. Gonna be a lot more domestic violence. I guess this is what was meant by "MAGA".

Direct cause and effect.

Direct facts, every new administration is affected by the policies of the previous administration for it's first year. Few new administration policies are implemented in the first year. This is true regardless of party. Sorry history bears this out so your assertion is null and void.

That’s only half true. While new administrations do inherit economic conditions from their predecessors, they also make immediate policy decisions that have short-term impacts—like tariffs, deregulation, or executive orders. Trump’s recent tariffs are a direct policy change, not a lingering effect from before. Blaming everything on the past ignores how current decisions are actively shaping market reactions.

Okay, half truths it is. Regarding tariffs, every nation Trump has declared tariffs on has had tariffs in place against us and he has simply matched their tariffs. Not a one has gone into effect, the effective dates have been moved to April 1 as other nations move to more fairly dealing with the United States.
Deregulation makes for a better business climate- I know I own a small business, and now I don't have to send more papers as a sole proprietor to the IRS saying again I'm a sole proprietor and then affirming I'm the sole proprietor in addition to all the other renewals and documents I have to submit for a business that generates an extra $20k a year for me. The cost of compliance with the law has been reduced and you have the audacity to call that a bad thing. And executive orders? Well I guess since it was an auto pen and not 10% for the Big Guy Joe signing all of the executive orders he signed when he came into office don't count. I' recall an expression an old boss of mine used to love to use, "You got your head in a dark place."
