Every social media wants to be TikTok. They want to create their own version of the “endless scroll”. Imgflip doesn’t do that, it lets you find stuff for yourself.

Every social media wants to use AI to show you stuff that it thinks you want to see. Imgflip just uses AI to make terrible memes.

Social media sites use algorithms to show you things that make you mad so it can farm more engagement from you. Thankfully, we have the politics stream to absorb all that trash for us, and it’s easily ignored.

It actually feels like using imgflip is a deliberate choice and not just something to scroll through… at least for me.

Imgflip is a non shit site that went to shit cuz of the user base, not the company doing it intentionally

It doesn't matter, Dylan is gaining millions with Guava Health, and a little from the mildly small community. Have a look at Guava Health. The guy has spent MONTHS on CSS for that website. But, Imgflip does regulary get updates, mostly rounding edges or bug fixes.
