I fail to remember learning about Hitler trying to stop a World War in my history class

Don't mean to offend anybody, but personaly, trump isn't really doing "peace" Ukraine is probably like" hey, what happened? i thought you were helping Us?" LOL

Trump isn't trying to help one side though. He's trying to get the war to end. Getting the war to end will stop unnecessary deaths. Zelenskyy didn't come in wanting to stop the war; he just wanted America to send him troops and basically fight Russia for him. That is a dangerous precedent; a USA vs Russia war could be the beginning of a potential World War 3, and we should never want that to happen bc with all the nuclear technology of today, a WW3 could quickly make most of the planet uninhabitable.

If we had a president that just gave Zelenskyy what he wanted, the world would be absolutely screwed right now.

The problem is that the media has sided with one side so badly that if Trump doesn't do what Zelenskyy wants, it's the same to them as meatriding Putin. Being neutral in this war is being Putin's [redacted].
It's just like the political aisle. The left has gone so far left nowadays that being centrist is considered "far-right" now. So that you're now having progressives that identified more with Trump and the modern day conservatives than Kamala and the modern day left. They believe you're either on their side, or you're an extremist and are full of hate. It's the same thing with Ukraine and Russia; either you fight Russia for Ukraine, or you're on Russia's side. It's the fallacy of bifurcation; either A or B, if not A, therefore B. It fails to account for the neutrality of wanting the war to end.
