Izuku: Just because it looks like him, doesn't mean you are him-

Izuku: I guess that's a good thing...

Devin: my family has always been...wary of the press. Especially since my brother went missing. But I've learned to live with it. Cause it's just dad and I now.

Izuku: your brother...? Oh I'm sorry-

Devin: it was a long time ago. *their wings shudder* if we don't get out of here soon, we're all going to freeze...

Devin looks at you

Izuku: Yeah I-I can understand- well if you can't I oughtta try-

Devin presses their palms against the ice, it starts to melt from the heat

Devin's body is unnaturally warm, almost fever like but they don't seem to notice.

Devin: I wish I could do more

It's kinda my fault we're in this situation anyways, heh heh *they looked back at Todoroki sheepishly* gomenneeee *the effeminate teen rubbed the back of their neck and laughed a bit, standing calmly in the freezing cold despite being in pretty much just a leotard and thin ballet skirt*

Izuku: Oh- that’s okay. Your quirk is still pretty impressive.

Haruka: Thanks. it's a real pain though, having to regulate time, spatial awareness, and situational context while your mental state isn't entirely your own *the blonde blinked and tilted their head before looking at Midoriya with a small grin* I guess I never have fully explained my quirk to you, eh?

Haruka: *borderline gushing* awww! Midoriya-Kun~! *they hugged Midoriya tightly, practically glowing with happiness. Was Haruka getting an ego boost from that statement? Yes. were they also genuinely flattered and excited over the mere presence of the statement? Also yes*

*he was shocked at first, unsure of what to do- but after the shock passed, he wrapped his arms around you, putting his head on your shoulder*

*Haruka stayed in the hug for perhaps a bit longer than normal/necessary, but eventually (almost reluctantly) let go and stepped back*
Haruka: ok! Let's smash some ice!

Haruka: want some help? *they grinned, seeming completely unbothered by the situation they were in- then again, maybe that's because Haruka wouldn't develop any kind of hypothermia for, what, 2 years? . . . ok, maybe not THAT long, but you get the gist!*

*Haruka raised their hands in an "I surrender" motion and grinned*

Do you think it would be better for me to turn into a waterbender and melt the ice that was, or a firebender and actually MELT the ice?

*he shook his head disapprovingly at bakugo*
Izuku: I'd say fire-

*Haruka smiled and nodded, taking a deep breath before morphing into Prince Zuko and walking over to the wall of ice. Haru-ko? Prince Zuka? Zuruka? took a deep breath before sending a blast of fire at the wall of ice; effectively melting it, but also sending droplets of boiling water flying off nearby. one of the drops flew off and landed in the trans-morphed "boy"'s eye, making them yelp and stop the torrent*
Haruka: ittai! *they fanned at their (now golden) eye, muttering curses (both Japanese and the ATLA universe's versions) under their breath*

*Izuku was generally concerned*

*Haruka shifted back into normal, blue eyes watering and blonde hair steaming from where droplets had landed. it seemed like they would be fine, but you never truly know with Haruka*
