I've never played sekiro, although I have it wishlisted on steam

I’m on my first play through rn, I’m stuck on the final boss and he may be the hardest boss in any souls game. Once I’m done with him I will have beaten every souls game

Yeah, I've heard ishen is hard, but is he harder than malenia? Malenia took me 4 hours at sl1, and I only won because I got lucky at the end.

Definitely harder than malenia, you have to read exactly what move he’s doing because for some you need to jump, some you need to mikiri (dodge while not moving) and some you need to deflect or run away

Well I killed ishin finally, it took me 100+ tries, more than any other boss an any souls game

Cool! I've died to some bosses a lot more, but mostly while doing some sort of challenge

Yeah the only boss I can think of that took 100+ was pre nerf consort radahn

Pre-nerf was absurdly strong, even with the thorn sorcery, it was a really hard fight.

Yeah I was using backhand blade and couldn’t beat him, I just put bloody slash on it and summoned mimic tear and it still took another 3 tries

Easily the hardest boss I've ever fought

Messmer the impaler

And I forgot to put nameless king on there somehow, I’d probably switch him with midir if I had to

1. Nameless King (that music SLAPS)
2. Ornsmough and Stein (one of the few fights that challenges me)
3. Gwyn (pling pling plong, enough said)
4. Iudex Gundyr (the fight took me fifteen minutes of straight parrying in riposting, GOD the parries feel good)
5. Chaos Witch Quaelagg (don't ask)
Real number 5. Artorius (was piss easy for me, I first tried when I got the DLC)

S tier list, this is a good example of the invisible mechanic in these games that makes players good at a boss that everyone struggles with, and bad at bosses that nobody struggles with. I died like 10 times to artorias the first time I fought him, but somehow beat ornstein and smough 1st try

I beat Artorias so easily because I abused a game feature to gain a shit ton of souls in one soul pop.

I also abused that when I did the plat, I also duped titanite because I didn’t really feel like farming it for 10 hours
