My father worked in the chicken business most of his life. I know something about it. How does the virus travel to so many laying houses with all the precautions in place? Why has it not traveled to broiler houses or breeding houses? Why has the virus not spread to other fowl like ducks or turkeys? It does not make sense. It smells of conspiracy.

Precautions are taken to enter and leave a chicken house. The spread of a virus from farm to farm is almost impossible, and chickens are chickens, layer, broilers, etc. I have been to dozens of chicken houses. My earlier memories were in chicken houses.

Egg layers: Take longer to reach market weight than broilers
Meat chickens: Bred for rapid growth, often reaching market weight in 6 weeks

No charge.

How many farms would have to be affected by the virus to affect the price of eggs? How would the virus spread from farm to farm and to different companies? Why does it only affect farms with laying hens? I thought it was the Left that believed corporations are evil. Simping for corporate farms seems unnatural.

Laying houses are not all located together either. Different companies & different farms. How were enough infected to change the price of eggs? Why were other chicken houses affected, only egg-laying houses? I've been around corporate chicken farming all my life. An outbreak may affect one farm or even one company but not nationwide. It makes no sense.
