DOGE found 20M dead people marked as alive in US Social Security databases. While the "alive people" weren't directly receiving payments, their "alive" status enabled fraud through employment, disability claims, unemployment benefits, fraudulent medical payments, state issued driver's licenses, illegal voter registration and application for other benefits and services requiring a Social Security number. This is one of the biggest scams against U.S. citizens in history.
