Cowboy wisdom, no we will not defend Ukraine

It's the Left's proxy war against Russia -- well the Left's and corrupt RINO's proxy war -- and so let them don uniforms and march forth to fight it, if it should come to that.

That is one of the problems, they can't fight and would never win anyway. They would lose in Europe and if they dared try and defend Taiwan. PACOM's 50 ships against China's 400+ would end badly for what's left of the American navy. It will take years before the USA has a real fighting force. I am not yet ready to talk youth into joining any branch of the military. We are just now starting to defend our own borders and cities; the US has no excuse for helping anyone until we are safe.

It does make me sad, the military used to be the one way people out here could prove themselves, when I was a child going into the military was expected, few retired but everyone served. Now most of us ex-vets tell our youth to forget serving. I am hopeful Hegseth can do the impossible but will wait and see before I recommend anyone's kid join up.

Yes, I also used to point out to screw up youths that entering the military was one way to emergency restart their path in life. Now . . . not so much.

They need us mired in another one.
