I know many people are afraid to eat beans because of farts 😸 so I'll give some advice:
*our bodies will create an enzyme that will helps digest the beans & decreases the need to fart. It doesn't happen right away but will happen within a short amount of time. Eating beans every other day will help build the enzymes. Ask a vegetarian: you quit farting after a few meals.
*if cooking dry beans (rather than from a can) be sure to soak the beans for 8 hours in water. It removes some of the fart-making aspects of beans, makes them easier to digest, and helps soften them before cooking. If you don't soak them, and just put them in the crockpot, you're in for a bad bloat and lots of farts under the bedsheets!
