You know, I actually enjoy doing the math, but that one's a 6th grade question, and the numbers get more interesting. If you go to the data page I cited, it gives the percentages by year (since of course, after the first, unnecessarily brutal year, there weren't as many people in the most vulnerable groups left to die off). And, hey, it's time for the Associations in Data unit in the 8th grade: this will be fun.
