After the welfare program was started the poverty rate remained at 40%. And in every year between then and now it's remained about 40%.
We've poured trillions into welfare and it never changed the poverty rate. It is a colossal failure that will most likely never go away.
The majority of recipients are white but they don't make up the majority of whites. The majority of blacks are receiving some type of government hand out. I pretty much think they've gotten their reparations 100 times over.
