Worst case scenario, say he assumes absolute authority, he doesn't have that many years to live, despite the doctor saying he'll last till 200. Once he's gone, it's not like Vance or Eric or Don Jr will pick up the mantle. I mean, they will try, but that's it, they will try.
There's only so much that Biden could have done to swing the pendulum in Trump's favor. That set up only has so much staying power. Come a couple of years, that staying power will be all gone. So now the only thing that Democrats have to face is this current mess, not the fake one that Biden set up in order to get Trump reelected.
