I've heard excuses for the Red Staters being moochers ranging from on account of there being more federal prisons in them (isn't crime supposed to be a North/Blue State/City phenomenon, and zippo in the South?) to having more military instillations. Just check out how many military bases are in New York alone kind of kicks that phony argument to the curb. And I did bring that up to one of them once last year. Still waiting for his reply.
