Yep . . . over the course of the last few weeks that has been the general response of the Political Left when asked for any sort of concrete example or verifiable fact.

At best they use something taken out of context to 'prove' their point or call an innocent physical gesture 'proof' of NAZI affiliation when it's only proof that they have become nothing more than unthinking political tools of the Dem Party's leadership.

I have been asking "why" and "how so" for a long time and gave yet to get a response that is not a straw man, a red herring, or a reiteration of the original statement.

Often, radio silence.

I try to engage in discussion but they just immediately come at me with the hostile screeching and nonsense.

Over time I turned off my "give a damn" and just let them know what I think of their ill formed, ill informed opinions and "facts".

Ditto. Their concept of 'discussion' is to fling out "Racist! NAZI, Misogynist! Bigot! Transphobe!" the instant their intellectual back is against the wall. ( Shrug) It . . . gets . . . old.

I went like 15 rounds with one that could not agree that experts often come to different conclusions based on the same data.

Their whole deal was that the one they/them liked was the fact and the other expert opinions were wrong simply because they/them did not choose theirs to like.

Of course the choice was not really they/them's oen, but the one disseminated via the leftist grape vine.

I believe it may have been that I maintained the position that masks were a false sense of security as they are ineffective for the recommended use to prevent contracting or transmitting covid.

These mask advocates bug me because all they were ever designed to do was to prevent the transfer of germs to patients during surgery. Germs are massively larger than influenza viruses, against which masks are worthless. That was established on about day TWO of the COVID scamdemic by experts . . . genuine experts.

The reason WHY this bugs me now is that every two weeks I am inside a V.A. hospital and having to wear a mask while waiting for an injection. Everyone else is also masked up and the nursing staff and doctors KNOW that the masks are useless, but because it's V.A. policy in certain areas of the hospital they and I have got absolutely no choice. Common sense and scientific facts notwithstanding. Grrrrrrrrrr!

Germs only and after 15-20 minutes of use they are totally ineffective as the pores expand, laden with the moisture from one's breath.

They know that it's just for show.

Since you mentioned the VA I will share this experience with you.

At the height of covid hysteria I escorted my father to the VA for an appointment. As he required a wheelchair for long distances, I fetched him one and rolled him in. We were stopped at the door and were told that no visitors where allowed further, patients only.

I unzipped my jacket and held it open revealing the red t-shirt I was wearing underneath that said in bold white lettering,
"SERVICE ANIMAL".

The doorman and I looked each other in the eye for a long moment before I stated, "humans are animals, are we good?"

Another long moment later the doorman nodded his head in the affirmative and stepped aside.

They came to the waiting room to call him to the treatment area and I followed the staff member there, pushing the old man in the chair.

The nurse asked how I got in the building and I opened my jacket displaying my shirt and said, "if a canine can be a service animal surely a human can".

Her eyebrows raised, she shrugged, and went about her business.

But wait, there's even more!

When she left the room for a moment, dad tapped my shoulder, and with a sly grin pointed a bony, shaking finger which my eyes followed to see a sign posted at the door to the room.

It read, NO SERVICE ANIMALS BEYOND THIS POINT.

Brilliant! Yes, they still have the 'no service animals beyond this point' sign where I go to get my treatments. I always wonder what the hell they expect the blind to do with their service animal. I mean you can order it to stay, but some of those treatments can last for six hours depending on the exact illness. That's a long time. Meh . . . but so it goes.
