They were referring to the effects of communism.

A small percentage of citizens making an insane amount of money while others starve should not be the goal of society. This is a problem and it says a lot about our country.

However, there is no good solution to this problem.

Either way, communism won't work. Ever.

Exactly, as JFK put it, "Capitalism is not perfect, but we have never needed to build a wall to keep our people in."

Yeah, I don't love capitalism, but it's better than pretty much every other alternative.
