As a former news editor and former lawyer I don't see grounds for a suit or any cause of action.

Annnnnnd the same sorts of news editors and lawyers didn't even BLINK as the Biden Administration both practiced and promoted political lawfare against Donald Trump; and so that background doesn't mean much.
