The Deep State

The "deep state" is a fictional lie conjured up by insane QAnon conspiracy nuts. I was told so repeatedly from 2016 to now.

I do not believe you, QAnon Conspiracy Member. You must be a Russian agent of collusion.

The term has been applied by American conservatives to the existing permanent US bureaucracy, which they argue is exerting tyrannical control over citizens and needs to be destroyed root and branch.

They should read Vox and The Atlantic, then, who assure us the Deep State isn't real.
