They are certainly told that the fundamental truth in the word of God is a lie, but the Bible tells us it goes far deeper. The world is in rebellion against God and the standards He sets forth. It is not so much a head issue (thought, information) as it is a heart issue. The world does not want it to be true. Eat, drink, and be merry is the phrase which best embodies the desires of this world. There are also those that choose the creation over the Creator. "Mother Nature" doesn't exist.
