Maybe it’s just me… does anyone else feel this way?

Idk for me the "better than my art" doesn't affect me unless I know that person is good at drawing then I'm happy, but I get how others wouldn't like it

I guess some of these are more my opinions, I thought maybe some might be relatable to others though

Yeah. For me my biggest issue is distraction while drawing. There's a kid in one of my classes who annoys me so unbelievably much. I try to draw something and I can't draw a straight line with him there

Also I made some Hollow Knight ocs and was drawing them in school, a kid said "Wow is that hollow knight? Nice" and I wanted to stab my notebook with a rusty nail at that moment so I have to agree wholeheartedly with those first two.

as a digital artist, I get a similar problem of someone looking over my shoulder and I have to say that it's rude to do something like that, and they could just ask what i'm drawing.

Mostly due to the fact I always draw on paper upstairs, is get nervous when my mom suddenly asks what I’m drawing even though it’s not even that much

Fr especially the 'ur so much better than me at drawing 🥺🥺🥺' if I wanna be honest it's kinda annoying idk how to describe it for sure

Luckily though I've never had anyone look over my shoulder and yell "MAN ARE YOU MAKING A SONIC OC THAT IS SOOO AWESOME" in public I think I would die of embarrassment.

I forgot to put a few things, maybe I’ll make a part 2 at some point, one of them is, don’t watch an artist while their drawing something that is definitely unfinished, they’ve probably just gotten a bit of motivation to start and if you make them nervous they will definitely lose that motivation
