To elaborate why I said “sitemods should tell you what you did wrong” I mean they shouldn’t just write one word in response and call it a day. They need to tell you what you need to do to fix the issue and follow the TOS as well. For example, I didn’t know I was supposed to delete an image that was already taken down from a stream because Andrew didn’t tell me until after he rebanned me again because I didn’t do it fast enough. You might be asking, “Why did he reban you?” I specifically gave him a link to the post to prove a user was harassing me and forgot to censor something. He went back through the MC and saw they were still “posted” but not “submitted” to a stream. He unbanned me after, but this could have been prevented if he told me when he banned me initially instead of just writing one word as a reason and “don’t post that” in MCs. I thought “since it’s off the stream, it’s fine” and forgot about the posts until I saw my initial ban was changed from 2 days post only to a permanent post and comment ban. Granted, I was being an a-hole to him, so I deserved it.
