you're probably right on this one. like with the border wall, Trump won't follow thru with "mass" deportation. probably the worst that will happen is that prices will go up a little more.

Also, a 2,000-mile-long wall and guards aren't going to be free.

they do think about it, but only in a simple, short-term, inaccurate way. they say things like "Trump says what we're thinking", which is true because he also thinks about situations in simple, short-term, inaccurate ways.

Trump says it first, and then they start thinking it
