Why is fear seen as this universally bad thing that must be eradicated at all costs? Some people have phobias that must be conquered, but I think more problems in this world are caused by people with no fear than by people with too much fear.
Paul Walker was quoted as saying "I'm not afraid of anything. That's just the way I am." If Paul Walker was afraid of something, maybe he never would gotten in the car with Roger Rodas and he'd still be alive right now.
The trolls in Frozen claimed that people make bad choices when they're scared, but I disagree. Fear is the beginning of wisdom. Fear helps you keep your priorities straight. In some cases, fear has led to people making the greatest choices in the history of mankind.
When the United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Japanese were scared out of their minds. They never in their wildest, craziest dreams thought a single bomb dropped from a single plane could do that much damage. When the first bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, the Japanese were undaunted. But when the second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, the Japanese finally came to their senses and surrendered. I wouldn't be surprised if they thought the third atomic bomb we dropped on them would destroy the whole nation.
