The tallest mountain in Alaska has always been called Denali (The High One). In 1896 & 1917 there were attempts to rename it Mount McKinley. But the thing is, official or not, nobody ever called it that. Well some federal officials, map makers & people who know nothing about Alaska, perhaps. In 1975 the state of Alaska acknowledged the name Denali;
the federal government did the same in 2015. So Trump
can pretend he's renaming the mountain, but he isn't.
