Forcing women to die by carrying a problematic pregnancy is a lot like lynching.

Killing thousands of babies is too.

So is an IUD also murder?

No because it prevents an egg form being fertilized, which is when life begins.

It kills a concieved zygote which isn't much different than a fetus.

It's still possible for pregnancy to start with an IUD, but it will kill it off soon after.

Not impossible, it's just very rare (just under 1%)

Either way, with pro-life logic, it could be considered a murder.

It cannot end a pregnancy, that 1% is chances of becoming pregnant with a UTI, not it ending them.

I am pro-choice because I believe that the government will go too far if given any sort of control. If we limit it to early termination or only in the event of harm to the mother, we also let the state decide what that means. There could also be exceptions where the mother isn't in enough danger to count as a legal abortion.

That makes sense. I would argue that because it is killing a baby as I see it, that is a risk you will have to take, and if there is a concrete law describing the cases in which lawful abortion can take place, then it seem that it would be difficult to break that without consequence, just like any other law. The state already gets to decide what counts as self-defence, and we have been okay with that for a long time.

So you disagree with the Bible, which says that life begins when a person breathes the air.
