Yep, foreign corporations need to provide American citizens with decent employment if they want to do business here. They can't just sap wealth out of our country.

I used to work at a Godiva chocolate store in the mall. I overall greatly enjoyed working there & I would've been interested in eventually becoming the manager of that store. But they decided to close all their stores in North America in early 2021 because of Covid, so I had to lose my job due to no fault of my own, yet they continue to operate stores in China and the Arab states.

I'm hoping that maybe they'll reopen their stores in the US once these tariffs are enacted.

That sucks. One thing I noticed about Godiva is that it doesn't have much sugar in it or that's it's properly balanced. Nestle/Hershey's/Mar on the other hand. Feels like those brands are 99.99% sugar and 00.01% chocolate.
