The Simpsons saw this coming decades ahead of schedule. There was an episode where Springfield enacted prohibition of alcoholic beverages, and Duff Beer responded by making a non-alcoholic beverage called Zero Duff (only to go out of business shortly afterwards).

Maybe someday all beers and wines will be non-alcoholic. We can only wait and see.

What would be the point? Non-alcoholic wine is grape juice, right? Who drinks non alcoholic beer?

I don't see the point, but some people do. I think the people who go for these beers and wines that have zero alcohol content may be trying to trick others into believing they're drinking alcohol when they're really not. That's just my theory.

They're giving up alcohol now that cars can drive themselves and they're all eating gummies. The future should be entertaining ... and safer. Alcohol kills.

Now if only we could turn people against marijuana the way we've turned them against alcohol and cigarettes....

What else have you got to do for the next 30 seconds it'll take you to read it?

Reading is fundamental or haven't you heard?

Reading is knowledge and knowledge is power but if you'd rather be powerless who am I to stop you?

Friday’s warning from the US surgeon general that alcohol is a “well-established, preventable cause of cancer” is perhaps a wakeup call for millions of Americans, but it’s the worst-case scenario that many beer and spirits companies have been preparing for over the years; Major brewers, including Molson Coors and Anheuser-Busch InBev, and spirit giants such as Diageo and Pernod Ricard, have all grown their portfolios with new non-alcoholic drinks to attract an increasing number of consumers, particularly younger ones, who are ditching drinking because of health concerns; alcohol is a “well-established, preventable cause of cancer”
