Yeah, as a younger kid, it was hammered into my head that "I'm not worthy" and "god loves me even though I'm a horrible sinner" (later I found out I'm bisexual and that god's love has limits) or the time when they were saying "all sinners are equally bad" or "anyone can be forgiven" and some kid asked about Hitler and the teacher said, "If he accepted god before he died, he is forgiven" or some shit like that. Even as a younger kid I was thinking "wtf, am I really as bad as Hitler?" Anyway, I'm glad I've moved on from that.
