Whatever substance is behind this one fellow's allegation, it is a fact that it was ONLY Christians who waged war on Christmas. A skirmish or two may have occurred elsewhere, but nothing like the war waged by the Puritans and their tight-assed descendants.

I know "y'all" don't read very widely of very deeply.

But please know that the Founding Fathers were first-and-foremost Deists who were staunchly opposed to any identification of government officialdom with established religion.

In fact, it was precisely the oppressive identification of British Royalty with The Church of England that caused American rebels to rebel.
