you're talking about homelessness and high prices. If you lower pricing, there will be far less homelessness. I do think Elon's statement was a little overboard, but there are places in the US where it costs an absolutely ridiculous sum of money to get a little tiny house (look at NYC where you can pay $5K/mo for a 800 sq.ft home). Solving inflation will help with homelessness far more than what the Dems tried to do that led to the housing bust in 2008 (which they then blamed on conservatives, even though we have video evidence that they themselves were the ones pushing the things that caused it)
Think about this. Our government could be spending billions to take care of its own citizens and attempt to try to house them, or they could 1) send almost Elon Musk's entire net worth of money to other countries (mostly Ukraine) using YOUR money [bc unlike Elon, they don't have $350B lying around and to send it, they have to take it from others, 2) give our government's #1 source of outside income to Russia so that they don't have as much yearly income, meaning they need MORE of YOUR money to send to Ukraine.
The current administration has chosen the latter. All while we still owe billions to China and are $36T in national debt. And then these ppl have the gall to say rich people like Elon are the reason poverty exists bc they don't just give all their money away. Elon doesn't get forced tax money from you. Hes rich bc he's innovative and people buy his stuff. These people get money from forced taxes and proceed to solve nothing with it. We pay them involuntarily and they screw us over.
We don't need to abolish big bank accounts. We need to abolish big government. Especially the crime syndicate of a government we have rn.
