It's because they were RAISED by D.E.I. standards from elementary school through college and then in the work force while being told that the are protected from all forms of criticism and any requirements to meet traditional standards of deportment or produce viable results. The ultimate in a Participation Trophy type of lifestyle . . . with the expected results.
