The First Nations were not a united people and also they were fighting and forcing other indigenous peoples off their lands as they were fighting the Colonials trying to take the lands they themselves took from other tribes. No one is truly innocent in the country

The way we are depicted in dime novels, movies & school history has no connection to the way we actually lived.

So the colonials were wrong. Many indigenous peoples were also wrong, but the colonials doing the same thing proves they were indeed wrong.
